Key to Usage Charts:
--- indicates either unlimited usage, or that a pitcher did not pitch that day
x indicates no remaining usage, or that a pitcher was unavailable that day
INJ indicates injured
* indicates that a reliever is unable to pitch in more than 2 consecutive game
*** incates that a reliever is unable to pitch in more than 3 consecutive games
??? indicates a recently acquired player where usage limitations are unknown
s indicates that a pitcher is scheduled to start that game fully rested
-1 indicates that a pitcher can start, but must reduce fatigue
-1 also indicates that a pitcher can relieve at no penalty
-1s indicates that a pitcher is scheduled to start at reduced fatigue

NOTE: In the pitcher rest requirement charts, only relevant usage is
listed. For example, if a pitcher 1.0 inning four days ago, but
nothing since that, it will not affect his rest requirement for this
series. In that case, the information will not be listed. I have
seperate records that I include that information on for quick reference.

[UC97] Roster Players: None
[UC98] Roster Players: None

Regular Rotation:
MIL Eldred, CHN Foster, ANA Watson, CLE Ogea, KC Pittsley

This Series: CHN Foster (R), ANA Watson (L), CLE Ogea (R)
Emergency Starters: BOS Eshelman (L), KC Pittsley (R)

If a rainout occurs and the starting pitcher for that day is still
available, simply move the rotation back one day and use the same
pitcher. The 'Emergency Starter' is to be used in cases of injuries,
suspensions, or rainouts that do not allow the same pitcher to throw
the next day (ie, cancelling a game after 3.0 innings).

If a player can't start, use the depth chart to select a replacement.
Bat the replacement last and bump any affected players up one spot.
If injuries prevent multiple players from playing, please use your
best judgement.

Offensive Rules
<-----*----->
(Ix-y,m:n) means in innings x to y (inclusive) and my score minus your
score is between m and n (also inclusive).
---> M=L means losing by any amount
---> N=W means winning by any amount
---> If x-y is replaced by x+, that means "in inning x or later"
---> If x-y is replaced by x-, that means "in inning x or earlier"
Examples:
---> (I1-6,L:W) means in innings 1 through 6, no matter what the score is
---> (I7+,-1:0) means from the 7th inning on, if I’m losing by 1 or tied
---> (I7+,[5]) means from the 7th inning on, if the score differential
	is 5 or more

1. PINCH HITTING
Instructions: choose first available player listed in "PH With" category.
If none are available, continue with listed player. DO NOT substitute when
legal defense is not possible.

Note: the positions listed in the "PH With" column are the position
that the batter must have been playing (OR DH) in order to pinch hit
with the listed player. If a substitution is made, and the pinch
hitter is not rated at the defensive position, replace him if CHC
retakes the field by choosing the first available player off of the
depth chart in the "Starting Lineups" section.

Batter Time Frame Situation PH With
------------------------------------------------------------
Brogna (I8+,-4:+4) vs LH Seitzer
Counsell (I6+,[5]) vs RH Lemke
Counsell (I3+,L:W) vs LH Lemke
Fletcher (I6+,-4:+4) vs RH Walbeck
Howard (I3+,L:W) vs LH Glanville (LF), McRae (CF),
                                             Sosa (RF), Reboulet (RF)
Pride (I3+,L:W) vs LH McRae (CF), Glanville
Reese (I6+,-3:+3) vs LH/RH Reboulet
Walbeck (I6+,[5]) vs LH Fletcher
Walbeck (I8+,[8]) vs RH Fletcher
Williams (I8+,-2:1) vs RH Seitzer

If a pitcher comes to bat due to the DH taking the field, and the
score differential is 6 or more runs, then replace with the first
available batter from the appropriate list below (not all listed
players are necessarily active):

vLHP: Seitzer, McRae, Williams, Glanville, Lemke, Sosa, Walbeck,
Reese, Fletcher, Grudzielanek, Reboulet, Brogna, Pride, Powell,

Relief Pitching
<-----*----->
SPECIAL NOTES
1) If 9th inning or later, and save situation is present (or arrives
in the middle of the inning), immediately insert LA Dreifort.

Remove pitchers from the game as soon as they are fatigued. Check the
appropriate situation in the below chart and substitute in the first
available pitcher listed. Do not insert a relief pitcher who is
scheduled to pitch during this series. "2 of 3" refers to the side
of the plate that the next three batters hit from. If one is a LH,
the second is a RH, and the third is a SH, consider it to be a SH.
