Jeff Cirillo was injured in the fifth inning while running out a grounder to ss. Thanks to Dave for a very memorable NCCS, and I'm sure he'll get his revenge on us next year. A transaction will be forthcoming to replace the injured Wood (15 games occuring in game 6) on the Woodchipper roster for the IBLCS. Game 6 COL 0 1 0 0 2 0 2 0 0 FAR 0 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 W-Mays L-Wood S-None (I think) HR-Delgado, Liefer Game 6: With COL facing elimintation for the third straight game, Dave threw Joe Mays (-2) against Kerry Wood for the Woodshippers. Colorado scratched out a run in the second inning, but the big story in the early innings was that as Kerry Wood came out to warm up for the 4th inning, he developed arm trouble. It is feared that Wood will be out for the remainder of the playoffs. Todd Ritchie came in to relieve Wood, giving up two runs in the fifth and again in the seventh. Fargo managed two runs, the first on a Liefer leadoff home run, and the second scoring on a Aramis Ramirez dp ball in the sixth, bringing the score at that point to 3-2. Final score was 5-2.
